An Indian PSLV-DL rocket was launched at 0941 GMT on 7 November 2020 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharokota, India. Aboard was the main payload, the EOS-01 radar satellite (aka RISAT-2 BR2) for the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The secondary payloads on the rocket included four Lemur-2 dual use ship-tracking and atmospheric research satellites launched for Spire Global, four Kleos Scouting Mission satellites (for Kleos Space) investigating the potential for commercial signal intelligence gathering, and the R2 test satellite for Nanoavionics which is thought to be a prototype for the Lacuna Internet-of-Things (IoT) communications satellite constellation.
