Russian Rockot launch vehicle puts three Gonets messaging sats into orbit

A Russian Rockot/Breeze KM launch vehicle successfully launched three Gonets-M civilian messaging communications satellites into Low Earth Orbit (LEO).  The launch took place from the Plesetsk launch site in Northern Russia at 1348 GMT on 31 March 2015.  The launch had been delayed from earlier in March due to inspections needed for the first stage engine of the converted ballistic missile.

Also aboard the flight was a small “mystery” Cosmos satellite built by ISS Reshetnev. Similar satellites have previously flown on Gonets flights though their exact mission has not been disclosed.
