Australia to have own space agency

Joining the recent trend for nations to form space agencies, for example the UK created its UK Space Agency in 2010, Australia has used the International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2018) in Adelaide to announce the formation of its own space agency. The name of the new agency has not yet been revealed but it is thought likely to be simply the Australian Space Agency.
