The Thailand-based start-up satellite communications and would-be space tourism firm, mu Space Corp, has announced at the International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2017), Adelaide, Australia, that it has booked a ride on Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket for the launch of its first satellite. The satellite will be launched on its way to its eventual operating position in geostationary Earth orbit (GEO) in 2021. The order is not the first for New Glenn. The rocket has already received launch bookings from long time space satellite operator Eutelsat and from LEO operator, OneWeb.
