Lifting off at 0313 GMT on 25 July 2020, a Chinese Long March 4B rocket has carried three payloads to Sun-synchronous, Low Earth Orbit (LEO). The rocket blasted-off from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, Northern China. The primary payload on-board was the Ziyuan III 03 (Zi Yuan 3-03) Earth observation satellite. This is the third in the current generation of Zi Yuan multi-spectral imaging satellites.
The secondary payloads also included on this mission were the Longxiayan-1 (this name is translated as Lobstereye-1 in English), X-ray detection satellite, and the Tianqi-10, small experimental communications satellite.
