China completes seventh BeiDou launch in 2019 and third dual-BeiDou mission to MEO

For the seventh time this year the Chinese have conducted a launch in service of their BeiDou satellite navigation constellation. This launch took place on 16 December 2019, at 0722 GMT, from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, Southwestern China. The mission saw a Long March 3B/YZ-1 (CZ 3B/YZ-1) rocket – a Long March 3B rocket with YZ-1 Upper stage – carry two BeiDou 3 units to Medium Earth Orbit (MEO). The satellites involved in this launch were BeiDou-3 M-19 and M-20.
