China has launched the Gaofen 12 syntheric aperture radar (SAR) satellite using a Long March 4C (CZ-4C) rocket at 2352 GMT on 27 November 2019.  The spacecraft launch occurred from Taiyuan launch site.  According to US Space Command the spacecraft is in 595 x 599 km x 97.9 degree inclination sun-synchronous orbit.  The spacecraft will have an equatorial crossing time of 0700. The satellite is officially to be used in conjunction with other Gaofen satellites for land surveys, urban planning, road network design, crop yield estimate and disaster relief.
