A Chinese rocket, Long March 2C (CZ-2C), has been launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, China at 1030 GMT on 20 May 2022, according to reports by Xinhua.
The vehicle reportedly carried three “communication test satellites”, as yet unnamed, to lower Earth Orbit (LEO). One is believed to have been built by CAST, and the other two by Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. They will be used for testing of in-orbit communication technologies.
The Long March 2C rocket, which has reportedly reached its planned orbit, used an optional Yuanzheng-1S (YZ-1S) upper-stage.
