Lifting off at 0450 GMT, 21 November, a Chinese Long March-6 light-launch vehicle has carried three Earth observation microsatellites into low Earth orbit (LEO). The rocket was launched from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, Shanxi Province, in northern China and is the second mission conducted by the rocket – the first was in September 2015. The three microsatellites: LINGQIAO 1-04/-05/-06 (JILIN 1-04/-05/-06), form part of the private Jilin-1, remote sensing constellation.
