The SpaceX Dragon CRS-6 cargo freighter spacecraft chartered by NASA was successfully unberthed from the International Space Station using its robot arm with astronaut Scott Kelly at the arm’s controls. It was then released into space at 1204 GMT on 21 May 2015. Carrying over 1,400kg of return cargo, the craft then re-entered and splashed down in the Pacific off Long Beach, California, at 1642 GMT on 21 May 2015 where it was to be recovered by ship.
