Following the completion of a deal on 9 August, France-based FSS (Fixed Satellite Service) operator Eutelsat SA has sold its interest in the joint EUTELSAT 25B/ES’HAIL 1 satellite, to co-owner Qatar-based Es’hailSat. The satellite is positioned at 25.5 degrees East and provides Ku- and Ka-band services to the Middle East and surrounding areas.
The deal was reportedly worth EUR€135 million (US$156 million).
