Grasshopper’s final testflight reaches 744m and movie looks sweet (Updated)

SpaceX has released impressive footage of its latest Grasshopper rocket vertical lift off and landing test with the images taken from hovering “hexacopter” UAV. The test took place on 7 October and was the final flight for the vehicle. Testing now switches to a “full size” nine-engine reusable first stage launch vehicle called Falcon 9R, the first stage of which SpaceX plans to test launch in December.
