Omnispace, the firm that received the assets and satellite ICO-F2 from the now-defunct ICO Global communications satellite firm, is planning to launch a constellation to track assets and devices from space via an Internet of Things (IoT) communications satellite constellation. It has ordered two satellites from Thales Alenia Space. The satellites which are slightly larger than cubesats are to use bus/platforms built by Nanoavionics with the S-band communications payload built by TAS in conjunction with Syrlinks.
