Meteorological satellite YUNHAI 1-02 launched by China

Lifting-off at 0054 GMT, 25 September 2019, a Chinese Long March 2D/2 (CZ-2D/2) rocket has lifted the YUNHAI 1-02 meteorological satellite in to a Low Earth Orbit (LEO). The mission launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, Northern China. The official mission is civil covering several applications such as; observation of atmospheric, marine and space environments and disaster prevention and mitigation. However the Yunhai-series of satellites are widely believed to also have military uses by Western governments.
