Having ordered a SpaceX Falcon Heavy launch for a satellite, start up satellite operator Ovzon has ordered a small GEO communications satellite called Ovzon 3. As it eyes giving a mobile broadband service to the Middle East and African region, Ovzon ordered the Ovzon 3 communications satellite from the Maxar-owned spacecraft manufacturer SSL (Space Systems Loral). The deal is contingent on Ovzon raising the required funding. If all goes to plan, the satellite will be launched in 2021. It has not been confirmed that this satellite, or a larger Ovzon satellite, or both, will sue the booked Falcon Heavy launch.
