Soyuz MS-05 undocked from the Rassvet module of the International Space Station (ISS) carrying Russian Cosmonaut Sergei Ryazansky, US Astronaut Randy Bresnik and ESA Astronaut Paolo Nespoli at 0541 GMT on 14 December. The spacecraft then conducted its de-orbit engine burn at 0744 GMT with the craft separating the Descent Module from the Orbital Module and Instrument Compartment then entering Earth’s atmosphere. After a parachute descend, the descent module made a last second rocket braked landing on the steppes of Kazakhstan at 0838 GMT.
