Swiss debris company ClearSpace has signed a launch contract with Arianespace to use the Vega C launcher for its first debris removal mission.
The ClearSpace-1 mission will be launched in the second half of 2026 from Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana. It will de-orbit the upper part of a Vespa (Vega Secondary Payload Adapter) which was left in orbit during the second flight of a Vega launcher in 2013.
