Launch arranger Spaceflight Inc has announced that it has made bookings for three full launches on Rocket Lab’s Electron to be flown from the Mahia Peninsula in New Zealand. The first Electron mission, scheduled for the end of 2018, will launch a BlackSky microsat as well as other satellites. The second mission will launch satellites from commercial and government organizations in early 2019, and the third mission, also scheduled for early 2019, will launch a spacecraft from Canon Electronics. This latter spacecraft will be the successor to the CE-Sat-I which was launched in 2017. The new satellite is dbbed dubbed the CE-Sat I Mark II and will the production variant which will be equipped with two cameras.
