London-based regional satellite operator, Avanti Communications Group plc, announced on 11 July 2016, that it was to begin discussions with potential investors in order to raise at least US$50 million to meet upcoming costs.
The company then went a step further and released a statement declaring that a formal sales process, as required under UK law, had been begun opening the door for possible mergers with a third-party company or a direct buy-out.
