At 0019 GMT on 13 December 2015, a Proton M Breeze M launched Cosmos 2513 which is known to be a Garpun-class military communications relay satellite, from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, near Tyuratam, in Kazakhstan. The Breeze M conducted three firings to place the satellite directly into GEO releasing the satellite some nine hours after the launch time. Once the satellite was placed into GEO the Breeze M upper stage conducted one more firing to take the upper stage out of the Geostationary arc.
