Having previously ventured into aviation insurance, specialist insurer Beazley has appointed Denis Bensoussan to start a satellite insurance underwriting capability within the firm. Denis Bensoussan comes to the firm from being Space Underwriter at the Lloyds insurance underwriting firm Hiscox. Bensoussan previously worked for insurance broker Marsh Aviation and has worked for the European international law firm of Simmons & Simmons as well as at the European Space Agency, at the United Nations and within the European Commission. Denis Bensoussan holds a post-graduate degree in Air & Space Law along with a degree and post-graduate degree in Law and International Law.
