Having had a second successful commercial Falcon 9 v1.1 launch to a supersynchronous GEO transfer orbit with the successful injection of Thaicom 6 (after previously successfully launching SES 8), Space Exploration Technologies (Space X) was pleased to announce that it had secured another launch order: this time from the Japanese satellite operator SKY Perfect JSAT for the launch of its JCSAT-14. The JCSAT-14 satellite, which is being built by Space Systems/Loral is set to be launched in the second half of 2015.
JCSAT-14 is booked to be launched by Falcon 9 v1.1
