The NASA MAVEN spacecraft orbiting Mars was recovered to full service after being in a “safe hold” mode. MAVEN fell into the “Safe hold” mode on 19 November which after a timing conflict between commands. Two different processors fell out of synch with each other, so that the relative timing of commands sent from Earth was incorrect.
