The commercial communications satellite firm O3b Networks hasd decided to postpone a Soyuz launch of four of its latest satellites. The Arianespace-marketed Soyuz ST-B (Fregat MT) launch of four O3B satelites, which had been set for 30 September. was called off after the firm revealed that four previously launched which was sent into orbit in June had suffered power “Low Voltage” events on the satellites. As a result the firm, in conjunction with the spacecraft manufacturer, Thales Alenia Space, have decided to do more testing on the satellites to discover the causes of the anomalies. The launch from the Sinnamary launch site near Kourou, French Guiana, is now expected to take place until next year.
