The unmanned freighter spacecraft Progress M-022M has undocked and moved away from the International Space Station’s Pirs module at 1358 GMT on 7 April 2014, having been docked there since 5 February 2014. Apart from this departure’s benefit of freeing up the docking port and taking away the astronauts’ trash, the spacecraft is to perform some experimental tests on its own before it is eventually re-entered to destruction over the Pacific on 18 April.
