Leading space information company Seradata Limited announces that it has reached an agreement with the renowned risk analysis firm Russell Group to license its SpaceTrak world satellite fleet and launch data for use in their ALPS risk management system.

“ALPS has become an established tool within the specialty risk insurance sector, specifically in aviation, energy and marine, so adding our unique SpaceTrak information is a natural extension.” said Tim Fuller, Managing Director of Seradata.

“Most of the space insurance market uses SpaceTrak as their benchmark data for space equipment demographics and failure rates. We are thus delighted to be able to offer this authoritative resource within our ALPS suite,” said Suki Basi, Managing Director of Russell Group.  “Many of our existing aviation customers also insure and reinsure space risks,” added Mr. Basi.
