At 1243 GMT on 3 July 2014, a Rockot/Breeze KM launch vehicle successfully popped out of its silo on its way to a successful launch from the Plesetsk launch site in Northern Russia. Rockot is a reworked ballistic missile. The three Gonet’s spacecraft, are civilian versions of the Russian Strela military store/forward communications satellites built by ISS Reshetnev for Smolsat via Roscosmos and will be used for message store/forwarding.
According to the orbital analyst Jonathan McDowell, the orbit achieved was 1480 x 1510 km at an inclination of 82.5 degrees. The launch was operated by Russian Military Space Forces.
